The aim of the grant programme is to offer talented young people opportunities for acquiring modern technology education and thereby contribute to Estonia’s high-tech development. The students of today are future colleagues and customers – grants provide an excellent opportunity for building contact between organisations and students during their studies.

Under the HITSA`s grant programme, it is possible to set up a personal grant fund to support the educational pathway of one or several future reputed IT specialists. Early contacts with successful students will multiply the chances of continuing the cooperation after their graduation. In addition it is also an important contribution of the business sector to education and through this also to the functioning of society.
Through grant programmes, Estonia’s leading enterprises and organisations, e.g. Skype, EMT, Elion, LHV Pank and the Estonian Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications support the education of IT specialists and managers in Estonia.
